Foot Fault Cont'd
Don't foot fault, people will call you on it. If you draw an imaginary line
directly through the center of your mini or disc to the pole, your
foot must be on that imaginary line behind your mini or disc, within
11 3/4 inches of the back of your marker. Anything to the side of
that imaginary line and you foot fault.
To be valid, a stance violation must be called by any member of the group or nearby official within three seconds of release, and must be confirmed by at least one other memband er of the group.
On the first infraction, the offending player is issued a warning and throws again from the same spot without penalty. Only after the first infraction are penalty strokes incurred.
